The 5 Who Would Change College Basketball Forever

Jalen Rose, Chris Webber, Juwan Howard, Jimmy King, and Ray Jackson; who are they? The FAB 5. In college basketball today all of the top recruits want to go to college together and try to win a National Championship but the Fab 5 are the originators. Even though they didn't win a National Championship, they were the first all freshman starting five to make it to the National Championship. The Fab 5 bought swag, unity, and what some people would call arrogance to the college basketball game. Chris Webber was the 6'10 center who would at times bring the ball up court and dunk on his opponent then stand over him and just yell at him. Juwan Howard was the 6'9 power forward who would dance after every and 1 or alley-oop. Jalen Rose, who I believe is the BEST COLLEGE POINT GUARD OF ALL TIME was a 6'5 left hander who would throw one handed alley-oops, hit pull up 3's, and have defenders look like they were wearing roller skates without brakes. Jimmy King and Ray Jackson didn't get as much publicity as the other 3 but best believe they were major contributors on both ends of the floor. If you're a  fan of college basketball you have to love the Fab 5 but if you have never seen clips of the Fab 5 ESPN is doing a 30 for 30 special later this month on them. The video above is a clip from a small special ESPN did on the Fab 5 back in 2007.
