EDGAR SOSA THE HARDEST WORKING MAN IN THE GAME......HE'S BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

On Monday September 5, 2011 Edgar Sosa was serving his country by playing for his Dominican Republic National Team for a chance to participate in the 2012 London Olympics. As we all know in a game against Panama Edgar suffered a broken leg injury. As soon as it happened I broke out in tears because with him being my best friend and me playing basketball at all levels I know he's the hardest worker in the game. For the past six months everybody has been asking me "how is Edgar doing" "is he ever going to be the same". I give the same response to everyone, "he's doing good, rehab 7 days a week plus Bikram Yoga. He won't be the same, he's going to be even better" So right now I'm going to show you guys a few videos of what Edgar has been doing and you tell me if you think he's going to be the same. You can keep up with Edgar on twitter @Edgarsosa10 http://www.twitvid.com/TYESS

REDBULL HAS WINGS

So this past week I was in Santa Barbara, California as an Assistant Commissioner at the 2011 Kobe Bryant Academy. On the first day of camp I met a kid and he told me his name is  Braycin Walker but I can just call him "REDBULL". He said this name was given to him by 2 time NBA Champion Kenny Smith. So I asked him " why does he call you REDBULL" and he responded "BECAUSE I GOT WINGS".  So the next day me and a few coaches at the camp including 5 foot 8 inches REDBULL decided to go play a few games of basketball. As soon as we stepped in the gym, without even stretching REDBULL took a basketball and just put down a mean tomahawk dunk. So after a few games and amazing dunks by REDBULL and UCLA Guard Kenny Jones we knew these two guys will have a sick battle in the camp's annual dunk contest. So on the day of the dunk contest I came up with a few crowd pleasing dunks for REDBULL to do. We did some of these routines in a spare gym on the campus and when we got to the dunk contest "THE REST IS HISTORY".

If anyone wants to have Redbull participate in a dunk contest you can contact me by email at: kashifpratt@gmail.com

The 5 Who Would Change College Basketball Forever

Jalen Rose, Chris Webber, Juwan Howard, Jimmy King, and Ray Jackson; who are they? The FAB 5. In college basketball today all of the top recruits want to go to college together and try to win a National Championship but the Fab 5 are the originators. Even though they didn't win a National Championship, they were the first all freshman starting five to make it to the National Championship. The Fab 5 bought swag, unity, and what some people would call arrogance to the college basketball game. Chris Webber was the 6'10 center who would at times bring the ball up court and dunk on his opponent then stand over him and just yell at him. Juwan Howard was the 6'9 power forward who would dance after every and 1 or alley-oop. Jalen Rose, who I believe is the BEST COLLEGE POINT GUARD OF ALL TIME was a 6'5 left hander who would throw one handed alley-oops, hit pull up 3's, and have defenders look like they were wearing roller skates without brakes. Jimmy King and Ray Jackson didn't get as much publicity as the other 3 but best believe they were major contributors on both ends of the floor. If you're a  fan of college basketball you have to love the Fab 5 but if you have never seen clips of the Fab 5 ESPN is doing a 30 for 30 special later this month on them. The video above is a clip from a small special ESPN did on the Fab 5 back in 2007.
